Edward has joined local Melton Borough Councillor, David Chubb, in Edmondthorpe for a 'Meet Your MP' afternoon drop-in at the Village Hall, as another of his summer visits to different villages across the constituency.
Speaking to local residents over a cup of tea in Edmondthorpe Social Club, based in the former historic village school, Edward and Cllr Chubb discussed issues affecting the village locally, including transport links, the environment and pollution, the economy and jobs, the cost of energy, and farming & support for our rural communities.
Edward said: "As earlier in Wymondham, it was great to meet and talk with local residents in Edmondthorpe, along with Cllr David Chubb, about the issues that matter to them, locally and nationally. I look forward to further village 'Meet your MP' sessions in the coming weeks."
