Thurmaston has held its hugely popular Summer Fayre in the village, with a range of stalls, local charities, live entertainment from local bands, and singers, and plenty of fantastic refreshments. The weather was kind, and the community turned out in force to come together and enjoy the sunshine and fun.
Edward said: “It was a great pleasure to drop by the Thurmaston Fayre, as the village’s local MP, and to chat with local residents and enjoy a fun time, meeting up with hard-working local Thurmaston County, Borough, & Parish Councillor Brenda Seaton, and Borough Councillor Gina Jackson who were as always doing their bit for the community helping out with the event. Congratulations and huge thanks to everyone who did so much to make the event a success."
