Edward Visits Wreake Valley Academy to discuss Schools Funding

As part of his regular programme of visits to local schools, Edward has visited Wreake Valley Academy in Syston to discuss schools funding in Leicestershire with Principal, Tony Pinnock, and to hear from students about their community and charitable activity.

Keep Britain Tidy: We can all play our part

Edward has joined the team from Keep Britain Tidy at an event in Parliament to support their campaign, and to highlight the importance of all of us playing our part in keeping our countryside, as well as our towns and villages, litter-free and clean.

Edward has held one of his regular meetings with the Leader and Chief Executive of Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, where he raised local issues affecting Groby, as well as discussing broader issues such as the need for dualing of the entire length of the A5.

Launch of the Blaby District Tourism Partnership

Edward has joined fellow Leicestershire MP, Alberto Costa, the Leader of Blaby District Council, Cllr Terry Richardson, and representatives of the Council and local businesses for the official launch of the Blaby District Tourism Partnership in the Marriott Hotel, Enderby.
