Edward has attended the ‘Open Doors’ charity event in Parliament, to learn more about the threats to freedom of religion around the world, and the publication by the ‘Open Doors’ charity of the World Watch List 2023.
Edward said: “It was a pleasure to attend the ‘Open Doors’ event in Parliament, along with many colleagues, particularly as I know the issue of freedom of religious expression, is hugely important to me and to many of my constituents. The event provided an opportunity to obtain a copy of the report which was launched at the event, and which highlights the progress made, but also that there remains more work still to do.”
